I have researched online and found technical drawings of the Berlin Philharmonic Concert Hall, Berlin. I printed off some drawings in plan and section and dusted off the drawing board ready to reproduce some drawings. For some reason, maybe because I haven’t drawn so many sections before, this task doesn’t come easy to me, I think mainly it’s working out the scales. Once I had overcome that hurdle, it felt great to draw again with pencil on paper, just recently I have spent a lot of time producing work on Indesign and so to pick up a pencil and ruler and draw on paper for the first time in months felt wonderful.
