Exercise 3: Breaking boundaries and exploring thresholds

Continuing on from where I left off with creating a threshold, below are images of the view that you would see from both rooms. I used tracing paper to create a section for each space, placed it over the drawn spaces, drew down the lines to start the section and joined it with a horizontal line as a guide. Looking from the longer space into the smaller space, I could see part of the window. Looking from the smaller space into the larger space, I could see most of the pictures on the wall and some of the table. I found it easier to turn the sketched piece on tracing paper around so that you could envisage what you would see through the threshold. The size of the opening is 230 high x 250 wide to scale 1:50.
