Exercise 3.3: Perspective with Tone & Colour
I made a second copy of the drawing in method 1, by drawing the outlines of the drawing using tracing paper held securely with masking tape. I looked once again at the room I was drawing and again shaded areas that shadows were cast, alongside that I incorporated a little of colour using fine liners and soft pastels, this adds a sense of texture and character to the room.

This part of my course was a huge learning curve for me, I have always enjoyed sketching but I am aware that I am not the most natural at it! I have learned how to really look at the detail of what I am drawing, to add shading can be quite tricky, I will continue sketching because I enjoy it but mostly so that I can improve on these areas.
